Welcome to Mansarovar Muslim Welfare Society : A Place of Worship, Community, and Learning"
In the Quran, Islam is described as “surrender” or “submission” to the will of God. This is reflected in the Arabic word for Islam, which comes from the root word “aslama,” meaning “to submit” or “to surrender.”

- Compassion and Justice: The Quran teaches the importance of showing compassion and justice to all people, regardless of their race, religion, or background.
- Responsibility: The Quran teaches that humans are responsible for their actions and will be held accountable for them in the afterlife
- Humility: The Quran encourages humility and reminds believers that all humans are equal in the eyes of God.
- Knowledge: The Quran stresses the importance of seeking knowledge and wisdom, both religious and secular.
- Forgiveness: The Quran teaches the importance of forgiveness and encourages believers to forgive others, even in the face of injustice or harm.

Connection with Allah: Prayer is a means of establishing and maintaining a strong connection with Allah. It is a direct line of communication between the worshipper and the Creator, through which one can seek guidance, forgiveness, and blessings. In Surah Al-Ma’arij, verse 5-6, Allah says: “So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief. Verily, with every difficulty, there is relief. Therefore, when you are free (from your immediate task), still labor hard.” This connection helps Muslims to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of their faith
